Can I migrate from a Coolify-deployed app to DANIAN?

Yes. Most catalog apps support standard import paths — database dumps, file exports, environment-variable migration. We perform the SMTP setup, and the DNS edit on request. The other direction works too: you own your data on DANIAN and can export it anytime back to your own Coolify deployment.

What about Coolify on a sub-$10/month budget VPS?

It's a perfectly valid setup for personal projects, hobby workloads, and small-team experiments. The math on this page uses a $24 production-class VPS as the reference because budget VPS providers below $10/month typically lack the backup tooling and monitoring add-ons production needs.

If you're running Coolify on a personal-projects setup, DANIAN doesn't compete on absolute floor price for that scale of workload.

How does DANIAN's catalog compare to Coolify's template library?

Different shape, different surface area. Coolify ships an extensive library of one-click templates that deploy applications onto your infrastructure — you still own the running app. DANIAN's catalog is ~150 applications we operate on customers' behalf — the running app is our responsibility.

So "how the app gets deployed" is similar (templates, sensible defaults); "who runs the app afterwards" is the actual difference.

How does the 1-1.5 hours per month estimate hold up in practice?

It's the steady-state estimate after Coolify and the apps are configured, and it covers OS patches, Coolify version upgrades, certificate verification, and backup checks. It does NOT cover incidents (a database disk fills up at 3am, a container won't restart), major-version upgrades (Postgres 14 to 16, Coolify v3 to v4 migrations, app version with breaking changes), or compliance work. Add an hour or two per month for those, on average. Year one is higher because of the learning curve.
